We are delighted to have obtained detailed planning approval for this block of six flats in Weymouth providing much needed high quality, flexible accommodation in a very sustainable location close to the town centre. This scheme, though replacing an existing building, is fully justified in terms of sustainability.

The new building replaces a very tired 1930s detached house which sits on a prominent corner between a busy main road and a quieter residential street. The existing house is incongruous and sits back from the building line and represents something of a void on the corner.

The new building reinforces the street corner being positioned right out to the back of the pavement, maximising the potential of the site and maintaining the maximum distance from neighbours.

The flats are all 2 bed flats with two “equal” bedrooms in order to provide flexible accommodation for a wide range of different occupiers – from younger people doing a flat share to older couples who want separate bedrooms.
