The project involved a small roof extension with various other environmental improvements including new insulation to roofs and walls, and incorporated new water heating and electricity generating solar panels on the roof. The solar panel installation obtained a grant worth nearly £11,000. The extension makes the most of the spectacular views over the city of Bath, with frameless glazing technology and a slimline structure kept back from obscuring the view. Zinc roofing completed a set of very considered details to produce a sophisticated and high quality aesthetic at a very reasonable cost.
