Mark Wray Associate RIBA ARB
Mark completed his architectural studies at the University of Bath, graduating with a MArch in 1999. He spent the following six years working in London developing his passion for the creative reuse of historic listed buildings and for new buildings in historic contexts.
At Richard Griffiths Architects, Mark worked on the RIBA Award winning Southwark Cathedral Millennium Project, the repair of St Leonards Church in Shoreditch and the refurbishment of the Art-Deco Dagenham Civic Centre, qualifying as an Architect in 2002. He moved to Wright & Wright Architects where he became project Architect for the rehousing of the RIBA Drawings and Archives Collection at the Victoria & Albert Museum and a similar project for the Courtauld Institute of Art.
In 2005 Mark returned to the West country and was involved with a series of Heritage Lottery Funded projects including the Blaenavon World Heritage Centre and Tudor House Museum in Southampton with Niall Phillips Architects. He joined Designscape in 2007 and runs a number of projects in the office as well as tutoring in year one at the University of Bath.
